Hilly's dad went in for routine surgery but never made it home. This is a tear-jerker. This displaced boy really needs someone to give him lots of lovins & the security he deserves.

Please email us to meet him.

News

Animal Matters couldn't do what we do without the endless help from people like Jana Loring, Stephen and Rhoda Moss, Alex Wolfgang, Scott Wu, Valerie Keely, and Dan and Marcelle Toscano, Jamie Wolf, Rayfield Baisley, Jill McCormick, Michelle Zubrowski, Cheryl, Ashleigh, Leslie Vincent, Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation just to name a few.

A special thank you goes out to the students in the Save What's Left Club at Forest Glen Middle School. They continue to make this world a better place & always work hard to help the animals. We appreciate their support. We need more teachers like Lisa DosSantos!

Who We Are

Animal Matters is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 1998 with the goal of educating the general public on the use and abuse of animals. We focus on the inherent link between what we eat, wear and use to the well-being of our animal friends, our health and our environment. We attempt to achieve this goal by producing and distributing educational materials to people who have never had the chance to learn of the cruelty to which animals are subjected and how this affects them and their society. Since September 1999, Animal Matters has been assisting in the rescue of dogs on death row at a local animal shelter. This work has been so rewarding that we have developed an Animal Rescue Division. This Division helps homeless animals by providing them with boarding, placing ads in local papers, hanging flyers, pitching their stories to the press, getting the word out on the Web, and spending time with the furry friend until we find him or her a good home. And through our “Be A Pet Advocate” program, we encourage others to do the same in their area.

WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY FOR PETS. WE NOW ACT ONLY AS A RESOURCE FOR HOMELESS ANIMALS -- MATCHING THEM TO LOVING HOMES.

We are only available via info@animalmattersonline.org at this time.

Adopting a friend

Prospective adopters will need to fill out an application with the respective rescue agency. Also, an adoption donation is required. We ask that adopters are at least 25 years of age.
