Who We Are
Feisty Acres, Inc. is flourishing, again. After a recent restructuring of our Board of Directors, Miss Edna Nute has returned to the helm of guiding direction for this organization, as she has for the past decade plus of her life.
Although we are not currently accepting new animals, we still have a fairly large surplus of animals, that we ARE currently placing up for adoption, should you be seeking a "friend for life". We have all colors and ages to choose from.
Call for information on our "Seniors for Seniors" program. Senior citizens can adopt a senior cat at reduced adoption fees. Our senior cats make great companions. If you would like to "sponsor" a senior
or one of our FIV/Lukemia cats, please give us a call to set it up. Your contributions are always welcome.
Feisty Acres is presently building a new FIV wing for our feline aids residents. We have several FIV cats presently and they need a new, larger area to call home. If you would like to send a donation towards the new wing, please send a check marked for FIV wing. You can now sponsor a Leukemia or FIV cat by choosing Feisty Acres on the Petfinder home page under sponsoring a pet.
We have placed over 100 kittens & cats this year and thank all the new "parents" for providing them a future.
Adopting a friend
Our Director of Adoptions is Dee Dee Martel. Dee Dee will be heading up our adoptions at the new Petco store on Hwy 200 west of I-75. She will be able to provide you with all the specifics to adopting a new family member.

Feisty Acres was chosen as the in-store cat adoption group at the new PETCO store on Hwy 200 in Ocala. Adoption hours are Sat and Sun 10 am to 4 pm. Weekday hours are by appointment at this time. Stop in and see the new store and check out our cute kittens and cats.
