It's hard to believe that another year has already come and gone and with it, many more greyhound adoptions. Our little group is growing, and we are still looking for wonderful families and individuals to adopt the terrific greyhounds we have managed to locate. Please take a minute or two to view our Adoptable pets and see if one of them catches your eye or their story tugs at your heartstrings. Those are the signs that we know lead to greyhound adoption. Who We Are
Crone's Creatures Greyhound Adoptions, Inc. is a small but growing adoption group, working to place retired and rescued greyhounds into loving forever homes. We have been working in greyhound adoption for over 3 years now, and have already placed well over 100 dogs! We are based in the Marion/Citrus county, Florida area and we work with kennels and farms throughout Florida, but we will place greyhounds anywhere in the US that we can fulfill the application process.
Adopting a friend
The fee for adopting a greyhound thru Crone's Creatures Greyhound Adoptions is $250.00, although the board is discussing raising the adoption fee to $275.00 April 1st. Rising costs in getting the greyhounds vetted out are making this increase necessary. We have an application we will be happy to send to you, and once we have the completed application and have arranged a home visit, we will be happy to find the perfect greyhound to meet your needs. The adoption fee covers the spay or neuter, collar, lead, ID tag, microchip and UTD on all shots and Heartworm. It also helps to defray transporting costs and the unforseen medical bills of injured and sick greyhounds who come into our program.

News Items
We are now offering Microchipping for our greyhounds and other pets as well. The Microchips are registered with 24Petwatch and may be scanned by all the major chip scanners available. We are charging a nominal fee of $5.00 per greyhound and $10.00 per each pet of any other variety/breed. There is no charge for the registration of 24Petwatch microchips. We are also now participating in Meet and Greets at the Tractor Supply in the Dunnellon, FL on Williams, in the old Walmart. We are there from 10 - 3 on Saturdays and 11 - 4 on Sundays at least one weekend every month. Come by and meet our wonderful greyhounds, and help them find that special forever home!

We do not currently have a shelter for our adoptees, but work with foster homes. We really need more foster homes as well as adoptive homes so that we can get these greyhounds off the farm and a bit more socialized.
