Who We Are

Lee County Animal Services' mission it to provide for public safety and health of Lee County residents and animals. We take in approximately 16,000 animals each year that are not claimed by their owners or are relinquished by their owners.

Adopting a friend

Adopters are required to complete an application. The adoption fee for kitttens is $75, cats are $50, puppies are $95, dogs are $75.00.and senior pets (6 years and over are $25). Senior citizens, 65 and older receive a $25 discount on adult pets and seniors may adopt senior pets for free. The basic adoption fee includes all basic shots (if over 3 months of age the adoption fee also includes a rabies vaccine and county license), first flea treatment, deworming, heartworm test (for dogs over 6 months old), feline aid and leukemia test (for cats) spay or neuter surgery, Microchip ID, training DVD., collar, bag of Science Diet pet food, and 10 day health guarantee.
