We're feverishly trying to raise funds for our sanctuary. There are so many dogs and cats needing help. Over 6,000 animals were killed at the local shelter last year. 83% of the animals taken in were killed. This is not acceptable.
Who We Are
We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping animals that are abondoned, abused, neglected or unwanted. At the sanctuary which we want to open, all animals who need a home will be welcome to stay with us for the rest of their lives, or until we can find them a family to love them. There will be an education center, adoption facilities as well as areas for unreleasable wildlife. All animals will be welcome, large or small. We are looking forward to working closely with the elderly and handicapped who are looking for a companion animal. There will never be a fee for the elderly or handicapped who wish to adopt an animal. There will be a fee for regular adoption, to help defray the cost of the care of the animals.
Ours will be a no kill facility. We depend on the generosity of the community. All donations are tax deductible. Due to space constraints, at this time we can not take in many animals. But we are very willing to help place animals in need of homes. We will gladly talk to anyone interested in our cause. Feel free to call at 850-983-4476.
Adopting a friend
To adopt, you must complete an application and adoption agreement. All animals adopted be spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption. We also require that adoptive homes for dogs have an adequate fenced yard. There is a fee of $50.00 to adopt.
