Who We Are
Welcome to the Animal Outreach, Inc. We are a Florida non-profit corporation, and an IRS 501c3 charitable organization. We are dedicated to helping the homeless dogs and cats in Broward County, Florida, as well as exotic animals. At Animal Outreach, Inc. we are committed to raising awarness of spaying, neuturing, abuse, neglect, wildlife, and environmental issues. Our trainers have years of hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and educational programs. All of our animals are cared for in a loving and professional manner. As we do not ship our dogs and cats, please do not apply to adopt one of our pets if you live outside of Florida.
Adopting a friend
-You will be contacted within 48 hours after your application is received. Please be patient.....we are an all-volunteer organization with many helpers working full-time.
-We may conduct an informal home visit to get a sense of where your new pet may be living. This will also give you a chance to ask any questions you may have.
-We'll schedule a time for you to meet the animal(s) you are most interested in. For many people, this is on the weekend, however, we can accommodate weekday meetings.
-If you adopt a pet from Animal Outreach, you will be required to sign a legally binding adoption contract and pay the adoption fee of $100.00 - $125.00, depending on the dog. All of the fee pays for vaccinations including rabies and certificate, sterilization operation(spay/neuter) and other medical treatments the veterinarian deems necessary.
-Follow-up visits, e-mails, or telephone calls are to be expected. The rescued pets are very special to every volunteer at Animal Outreach, Inc. and we love to hear how your new pet is doing in his new home. Please join our email group to post messages and pictures about your new pet.
