Ohana
Ohana gave birth to a little family of 3 on June 20, 2002. She's had a very rough life and on Sunday May 5th, she went to a new home. We hope that she will be happy there. She had a very rough life before coming to Happily Ever After and we hope that this time we've found her the perfect home.
News
We've had some pretty great adoptions. Many of them are thanks to other rescue groups. In this "job" it's so important that we all work together. A small amount of time can save hundreds of animals if we all work together. One of our boys even flew all the way to New Jersey to find his new home. Thank you ManxALot Rescue for helping us!

Who We Are
A very small organization working with local animal shelters and foster homes to find a permanant home for animals. We also work with rescue groups all over the country to try to find what you are looking for. If you don't see the perfect match for you, keep checking back or email for an information sheet to be sent to you. Also, try checking www.yankeecatrescue.petfinder.org to see other available pets in this area. We are unable to accept pets in at this time. We are currently a small, private rescue. Most of the animals posted for adoption are available from other shelters, rescue groups or are posted for an individual.
Adopting a friend
Please email the shelter and we will send you an adoption information sheet via email. This form is designed to help us make the best possible match. It is NOT designed to deny adoptions. All information requested MUST be filled out in order to be considered. We do ask for current veternarian information for our records. It is your responsibility to call your vet's office and request the fax number, etc. Please remember to answer all questions as honestly as possible so that we can make the best match for you. Every attempt will be made to find you the perfect pet.
Contacting the Shelter
Happily-Ever-After is available only through email. All emails will be answered as soon as possible. Most of the time our email is checked just once a week due to our current schedules so please be patient with us. We do always answer your questions to the best of our abilities. To speed your resonse regarding a particular animal, please read the information area about them. This will tell you the email address to contact (it should be automatic). If it is the HEARescue@aol.com address, please include the animal's name and ID Number if possible to help me establish where this animal you're interested in is located.
