Adopting a friend

We specialize in Borzoi and Greyhound Adoption and Rescue, BUT we also help ALL sighthounds, AND other breeds, so if you are looking to adopt, or know of one in crisis, contact us. If we don't have one for you at the time, we can refer you, so please call.

I said “ Tell me why you bother, why you waste your time this way? There’s a million stranded starfish, does it matter,anyway? And he said,“ It matters to this one. It deserves a chance to grow. It matters to this one. I can’t save them all I know. But it matters to this one, I'll return it to the sea. It matters to this one, And it matters to me.” I walked into the shelter, The greyhound greeted me. I knew that he deserved a chance, The hope in his eyes I could plainly see. They said,“ Tell me why you bother, Why you waste your time this way. He is only one of thousands, Does it matter anyway?” And I said,“ It matters to this one. I can’t save them all I know. But it matters to this one, I’ll help him be what he can be. It matters to this one, And it matters to me.”
