Who We Are
We are a team that is very involved with the animals that find their way to our shelter. We work with them and their behavior to make sure that when they are ready for their forever home ;everyone will be happy.
My Assistant Linda and I work in our school system educating the children about animal care and their role in keeping animals safe. We are currently working on a project with "The Safe Kids"and several other Animal Control Officers in New London County.
We host the TEAM unit every other month.We have seen 50-60 cats every time they are here.They have provided a much needed and appreciated service to Ledyard and surrounding towns. Please contact TEAM directly to arrange an appointment. TEAM can be reached at

The shelter operates daily from 8:30 to 4:30 pm. However, appointments to meet our adoptable animals are always encouraged
Adoption from our shelter will require a vet references.The animals are all eligible for the CT spay and neuter program (which does require a small fee)all adopters must be Ct residents to participate in this program. But everyone is welcome to adopt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
