Mac is a young boy who has a great temperament. He has lots of potential to be a well-mannered dog with a patient and dedicated owner. He has a very unique coat that has reddish highlights in it! He's handsome and muscular. Mac is a ball of energy and smart as a whip! He'll do best with obedience training and he'll probably love it and be an A+ student!! Carleton is about 6-7 years old. He is a stray whose owner never bothered to look for him. He's pretty easygoing. He enjoys meeting new people and loves going for walks. He's very playful and a very happy boy, whose tail never stops wagging! Come by and visit Carleton.
The East Haven Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter serving the town of East Haven, CT. We are committed to helping all animals that come into our care, and adopting them out to loving homes. Unfortunately, we are not a no-kill shelter, but with the help of our compassionate Animal Control Officers and our volunteer group, we do everything within our power to insure that an adoptable animal is not euthanized. If an animal is marked as URGENT, that means we will need to find a home for it soon.
Please note, animals are not adopted on a first come, first serve basis. We need to make sure it will be the best match for both you and the animal.
Donations are always accepted and very much appreciated. We can always use the following items: Dog and cat food, cat litter, old blankets and towels, cleaning supplies, and cat toys. We also are very happy to accept cash donations, which all goes towards medical expenses for the animals in our care.
