Our Featured Pet...

Jasper is extremely sweet and very tolerant, however, he does not like other cats. He purrs all the time and eats only canned food. Jasper is neutered and microchipped, negative for leukemia and aids, and overall, healthy. He is approximately 8 years old, and is battling a weight problem (he weighs 20 pounds). We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit corporation, recognized by the IRS. We are a fully-licensed, limited admission, cage-free cat shelter with a no-kill policy. We are a group of dedicated volunteers who love cats - Join Us We believe that every cat has a right to a safe and loving home, regardless of age, appearance, or chronic, but manageable health problems. Adopting a friend

When you are ready adopt one of our wonderful cats, simply fill out the adoption application and one of our volunteers will get back to you within a few days to begin the adoption process! After the initial contact, we will help you decide what kinds of personality traits you are looking for in a cat. If you fall in love on the spot (so easy with kitties) we still suggest you go home and think about it overnight. This is a big, and important decision, not just for the human involved, but also for the cat. If, after a good night's sleep, you still want whichever Fluffy you have met, you must return with a proper cat carrier (not a cardboard box or basket or bag), and the adoption fee (which is modest, but does not cover all of our costs). After we have spoken with you, we will arrange to have you meet with the cat(s) you are interested in. If you have children, we suggest they be present at the interview to ensure that everyone in the household will get along well with the new family-member.
