SPECIAL THANKS!
Mariah's Promise Animal Rescue wishes to extend our deepest
appreciation to Mike Phillips of Events

Thank you for everything you do for the dogs, the beautiful hoods you
create to feed the hounds, all the sacrifices you have made to help the
animals that have crossed our path since 1990. It could not have
happened it without YOU!!!
We all love you!! ~ Toni

Who
We Are
Mariah's promise is "All that we can - We will" for
the animals. We are a true no-kill sanctuary, a 501(c)3 run by
volunteers. Mike and Toni, the founders, have been rescuing dogs since
1990 in Texas, Missouri and now Colorado. We have yet to find an
"unadoptable" dog - we assess each dog that comes to us only to
understand their personality and needs, not to determine whether they
live or die. Until a dog finds a new home, they have a home with us.
Our desire is to give animals the time needed to find the family for
them, no matter how long it takes. We take in animals that have been
left injured or neglected, older dogs and those with health issues - we
bring them into our home where their needs are met. They are valued and
loved. Here, they have a chance to heal and learn to trust
again. ~Read
More About Us ~
There's a fable story about a
group of friends having a picnic on a river. They hear the sound of
crying and look up to see a baby floating helplessly in the river. They
immediately dive in to save the baby, and to their horror see another
baby floating towards them. They save that one too, only to see more
appear. Soon the river is full of babies and they dive again and again
to save these babies from drowning. One of the people gets out of the
river and begins running upstream ... the others shout, "Where are you
going!?" He yells back, "I'm going upstream to find out who's throwing
babies in the water and make them stop".
PLEASE spay and
neuter your pets to keep the babies from being thrown into the river!!
It takes communities working together, not just the
shelters or rescue groups, to keep the animals 'out of the river'.

Adopt
a Companion
We
have a large selection of dogs and some cats too that are looking for
their forever home. Will you be that home for one of
them? We place our companions in homes where our dogs will
become part of the family, to love and be loved. Click HERE
to view all of our available companions.
As we are a No-Kill Sanctuary, any animal that
we receive into our program is provided a warm, friendly home where
they can thrive until they are placed into their new forever
home. We believe that every animal is adoptable.
Not all of the available companions are
located at Mariah's Promise Sanctuary. Please note the
contact information on each of the companion's Bios in order to make
arrangements to meet the companion of your choice.

Love
Dogs ... and Justice Too?
By Chef David
If so... there is an atrocity going on in Denver that you may want to
be aware of.
You are a responsible dog owner, you get your four legged companion
only the best food, exercise several times a week, they get only THE
Best in treats, and you just love them like no other.
Your dog happens to be of the Pit Bull breed(s)... so Denver Municipal
Animal Shelter (DMAS) knocks on your door, confiscates your family dog,
and shoves a needle in its arm and puts it to death. No crime, no
mauling, not even a single bark... but simply because it's a Pit Bull.
Seems Fair, huh? Hardly. ~Read More~ |
