Chico and Fritz were found at the shelter on October 2, 2006. We guess they were 2 to 3 years old when they arrived at the rescue. They are very friendly, love being held, and are pretty good buddies. Fritzy is a party boy, and wants to play! Chico is a sweet heart, and loves attention.
We have over 40 healthy, happy guinea pigs of varying ages, colors, breeds, and genders, that are waiting for safe, loving homes. This site has many of our cuties that are available for adoption, but not all. Come see us at Petco, listed in the Petfinder Event Calendar.
Guinea Pigs are very social and need companionship. Because of this, we adopt piggies out in non-breeding groups of two or more (with a few special exceptions). A single piggie may be adopted in cases where there is a non-breeding piggie in the home already.

We care for and adopt our piggies out of our homes, so visiting is best done by appointment only.
Please also understand that we screen our applicants carefully, including a brief friendly pre-adoption home visit, to insure the safety of these vulnerable little creatures. Many of our rescued piggies have had rough experiences. We try to ensure that doesn't happen to them again.
