DOG ADOPTIONS
Come visit our dogs for adoption every Saturday (except holidays and third Saturday of every month), noon until 4 PM at PetCo in Moorpark. No adoption event on October 4th! (742 Los Angeles Ave. Off the 118 freeway. Click here for a map!)
All adoption event times are approximates. Our rescue is run by volunteers and thus our appearances are based on the time that can be donated. If you are interested in seeing a specific animal e-mail us, via the addresses that appear below, ahead of the adoption event and we will schedule to bring them. Due to the limited space at Pet Co, we cannot bring all animals available for adoption.
CAT ADOPTIONS
Come see our beautiful and friendly cats that are looking for homes on Saturdays at Petco in Thousand Oaks in Moorpark (742 Los Angeles Ave. Off the 118 freeway. Click here for a map!) and on Sunday at Pet Co in Thousand Oaks (140 Hillcrest Rd. The nearest major cross street is Moorpark Rd. Click here for a map!). Both adoption events run from Noon until 4 PM.

WHO WE ARE
Pet Stop Rescue is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to placing homeless and displaced pets. Based in Ventura County, PSR focuses on improving and protecting the lives of animals. We rescue animals from kill shelters, dangerous home situations as well remote locations where their families have dumped them. We also help responsible families who find themselves in the difficult situation of needing to re-home their pet. Most of our animals are in foster homes until 'lifelong' homes can be found for them. Our volunteer fosters help us to socialize, train and rehabilitate these wonderful animals so that they can be better members of your family once placed.

ADOPTION FEES
Adoption fees go to support our spay and neuter program, micro chipping, vaccinations and other medical services, shelter rescue fees as well as for food for all our animals. Through our adoption fees, volunteers and donations, we are saving the animals one life at a time! Be sure to earmark your donation DOG or CAT.
VOLUNTEERING & DONATIONS
Anyone interested in animal welfare is encouraged to join us. PSR would love to have you as a volunteer and it's a great way to help the community and most of all - the animals!
There are many ways to volunteer such as donating
food, leashes,
blankets and toys

and / or monetary donations.
Monetary donations go directly towards the care of the animals. If you would like to assist us with the medical needs or donate to a specific animal in our care, then please note the name of the animal (cat or dog) on your check!
