About Us .....
WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT OWNER SURRENDERS OR STRAYS. Please take them to Chico's Bute Humane Society (343-7917). Financial assistance is available for spay and neutering through P.A.W.S. of Chico (892-2687) or P.A.W.S. of Oroville (534-5713).
The Chico Cat Coalition also seeks to increase public awareness about responsible cat care, the necessity of spaying and neutering, and the consequences of cat abandonment. We are an official program of P.A.W.S., a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, all-volunteer organization.
Adopting a friend
We suggest a donation of $45 but more is greatly appreciated. It costs us about $100 per cat to have them tested for Felv/Fiv, Spayed/Neutered and Vaccinated. MOST OF OUR KITTENS ARE ALSO SPAYED/NEUTERED OR WE WILL PAY FOR THEM AS PART OF OUR PROGRAM ONCE THEY ARE FOUR MONTHS OF AGE.

We show our adoptable cats and kittens on several weekends a month at Petco depending on the numbers of cats/kittens we have. Please check the Enterprise Record for our mobile locations, or call (530) 894-1365 for a viewing appointment.
