Calaveras County allows 3 dogs and 4 cats per property without having a Private Kennel License or an Interim Animal Permit. Please contact us for details regarding these.
Calaveras County has a Control Law which states in part that all dogs must be kept under the owner's control at all times. Either by a fence, wall, substantial chain or leash, or other appropriate physical retraint, or under the immediate control of the owner.
