Adopting from a foster family provides you with many important assets. Your foster parent will be able to tell you directly whether or not the pet will make a good fit for you. Dogs and cats that are fostered are usually in better psychological condition than those who are warehoused in a shelter. They have been socialized and have learned how to not chew, not bark constantly, not scratch furniture or spray, are generally house-trained and behave well as family members. Also, animals that engender fostering, as opposed to being taken to the shelter, tend to be exceptionally loveable ones - the animals that seem to be most likely to have a happy ending.Come Visit Us!
We have no shelter. We are an all-volunteer group of foster homes in the Montecito Heights/Highland Park area. But you can still come and visit our animals. Just email, and we will set up a time.City of Angels Dog Rescue
