Ohlone Humane Society

To benefit animal welfare through various ongoing programs such as companion animal rescue, wildlife rehabilitation, humane education, spay/neuter financial assistance, youth group, meals-on-wheels for pets, special assistance, "hug-a-pet" therapy, and to enrich people's lives by expanding their knowledge and appreciation of animals through education and interaction.

The Ohlone Humane Society Companion Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit Bay Area companion animal rescue organization, comprised entirely of experienced volunteers who collectively have rescued hundreds of abandoned animals and placed them in loving homes. United and inspired by compassion for all animals, talents are focused on finding warm, loving homes for abandoned dogs and cats destined to be euthanized in the Tri-City animal shelter. Each rescued animal is provided veterinary attention, including examination, immunizations and spay/neuter. Safe haven foster homes are then provided by caring volunteers.
