Our Featured Pet...

Labrador Retriever Black, yellow or chocolate, this breed is good-natured, loyal, hardworking and very patient. Popular as a show dog, it is also stable, calm, and excellent as a guard dog, gundog, and domestic pet. This breed accepts any given task with a sense of enthusiasm. It is a good companion for children and other dogs, and it loves to work and to socialize. It needs daily contact and regular, vigorous exercise, including swimming, as it loves to swim.

All of the animals here are very special.

News

Jason, Our sweet Austrailian Shepherd was adopted to a rescue group in phoenix. Jason came to us after being dumped at the county shelter by the breeder. He was deaf & blind and not a good sale. This purebred pup was only 10 weeks old at the time. Jason grew by leaps & bounds in weight and in his confidence with the love & care he was given at our HALT santucary. There were so many requests for this baby we were overwhelmed. The perfect one was a group in Phoenix. Jason is now in specialized care. Who ever said all dogs are not adoptable!
