Your support is critical to our survival and the advancement of our future humane association shelter. Every dollar counts toward our small town, volunteer driven, non-profit, animal-loving organization!

Who We Are

The Page/Lake Powell Humane Association is an all volunteer, non profit organization. Our volunteers concentrate on placing local homeless dogs and cats into permanent homes. We kennel some of our animals in a portion of the Page Animal Control Shelter and work closely with the Page Police Department to move abandoned, or relinquished animals from the pound into our care.

We require an adoption application and processing fee for each animal. All adopted animals are given initial vacinations and are spay / neutered at the time of adoption or shortly there after. As time and volunteers allow, we sponsor a discounted fee spay & neuter program, offer events in the community and schools to promote responsible animal care and responsiblity.

We are actively recruiting volunteers to participate in

"Making a Difference” in a variety of ways including...

  • Be a short-term foster parent/family to help socialize, and train "wannabe pets" to increase their chances for adoption and finding permanent homes!
  • Donate your professional expertise a few hours each month to help write grant proposals; Find funding sources on the internet; Graphic design for fundraising materials; Contract and attorney consultation as needed basis; Build dog houses or kitty condo to raffle off for fund-raisers...we need your support!
  • Sponsor a spay/neuter certificate(s) through our program fund to help families and pets living on a tight budget. Your donation of $25 will buy a spay or neuter for one more animal!
  • Help staff a booth at a community event!
