Our fiscal year ends in June. We are currently renewing memberships for the 2002-2003 year. Memberships are $20. A membership entitles you to discounts on grooming and veterinarian health care.
We are also gathering items for our annual Rummage Sale in February. If you have items to donate please call us for pick up.
Who We Are
The Greene County Humane Society was incorporated as a non- profit organization in the State of Arkansas in 1984. Since then, we have been serving the needs of our community by uniting lost pets with their owners, investigating cruelty to animal cases, visiting area schools and nursing homes with pets, and, of course, finding homes for unwanted animals. We have no paid employees and all fund raising activities are done by our wonderful volunteers.
Adopting a friend
Adoption fees are $40 for cats and $50 for dogs. This covers shots and neutering. All animals must be neutered. Adoption agreement requires that animal is returned to us if it does not work out.
Come Visit Us!
Please call and make an appointment to visit us or volunteer. Volunteers are especially needed at Christmas for "Pictures with Santa" and in February for help with the annual "Rummage Sale". Call for additional information.
