We are starting a sponsor program for the animals in our shelter. We have local rescues who are willing to pull animals from here as long as we can help with some of the funding. We are actively taking donations for any of the animals in our shelter to be sponsered. Come in today and save a stray!

Who We Are
We are a city-run shelter that handles animals within the city limits of Rogers, Arkansas. We strive to provide caring, competent, and professional assistance to the animals and community.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption procedure is very simple. Find the perfect pet that you can give a "forever home". Our staff will help match your personality and needs to the pet that best suits you and your family. Adoption costs $61.00 per animal. This includes basic vaccinations and worming, a free visit to the vet for a "wellness check" and covers the cost of spaying/neutering your animal as well as microchipping. (Vets agree to accept payment of $40.00 for procedure). ALL ANIMALS ADOPTED FROM SHELTER MUST BE SPAYED/NEUTERED!
A few things to remember about the adoption application....
**If you rent, you will have to have letter from your landlord stating that you can have pets. This letter needs to include limitations on the animal if there are any.
**If you have other animals, regardless of where you live, you will have to have proof of rabies vaccinations for each pet.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10:00 am - 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am -2:30pm.
We are easily accessible from Hwy 540 or 71 Business.
From Hwy 540 - Take exit 85 to Walnut Street. Take Walnut Street east to 28th Street. Make a right onto 28th Street and go to Oak Street. Make a right onto Oak Street. We are approximately a half block down on the right. Look for Rogers Animal Shelter sign.
From 71 Business - Take 8th Street (71B) to Oak Street. If coming southbound on 8th Street, turn right onto Oak Street. If coming northbound on 8th Street, turn left onto Oak Street. Take Oak Street out past 28th Street. We are on the right approximately a half block down. Look for Rogers Animal Shelter sign.
