Animal Rescue Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the welfare and humane treatment of animals, through rescue, fostering and placement. We operate solely from donations. Adoption donations are $95.00 for dogs, $70 for cats. All pets placed for adoption have been socialized, evaluated and seen by a vet. Volunteers Needed!
A.R.F, Animal Rescue Foundation is in critical need of foster homes in the Mobile and Baldwin County areas. Fostering a dog or cat while it's waiting to be adopted is a wonderful opportunity to share in a pet's life and to help in our struggle to love and care for the forgotten furry ones in our community.
Another way to help these precious little ones and give back to the community is through monetary, pet food, or pet supply donation. All animals visit the vet, receive vaccinations, and are spayed/neutered. This is a very costly process. We rely solely on the donations of animal lovers like yourself.

Adopting a Friend!
1. Choose your next best friend or a cuddly kitty (it's a hard choice, we know!)
2. You may fill out an online adoption application at by clicking the adoption application tab on the left navigator bar or you may send an e-mail to info@AnimalRescueMobile.org for an adoption application. Make sure you note the name of the pet you're interested in adopting in the subject line. You can also call us at 251-478-9743.
3. Submit your Adoption Application to an ARF volunteer for processing.
4. Processing your application will be done as quickly as possible so that if you meet the adoption qualifications, you can be reunited with the newest addition to your family within 7 days or even sooner! The process involves following up on your Vet reference(s) if applicable and scheduling a home visit with you and your family.
A word about the home visit- Please do not be offended at the prospect of an ARF member visiting your home. ARF is not conducting a home visit to inspect your standard of living or whether you keep a spotless home (you should see some of our homes!). The only purpose of the home visit is to meet your family and other pets (if applicable) and to confirm your home will be a safe and loving environment for this new pet. Because the majority of ARF's pets have known only neglect and abuse in their past lives, we feel it's our responsibility to make sure they experience only love and kindness in their new "forever" homes.
5. Upon meeting the adoption qualifications, we'll ask you to pay the adoption donation ($70 for cats, $95 for dogs). We will then make arrangements with you to either deliver your new family member to you or for you to pick him/her up!
There are so many abandoned pets in Mobile County who deserve a loving home; these pets truly NEED you! Please choose ADOPTION and make a real difference in the life of one of those pets!
