FOSTERS ARE DESPERATELY NEEDED!!!!

Victoria is a loving, sweet little about 5 year old girl, who weighs in at 70 lbs after being cared for in her foster home for 4 months now. She is spayed, utd on shots. She came to us at only 45 lbs, every rib was visible, this poor girl was starved and neglected . Victoria is a small Rottie who would do well as the only dog, so she can recieve all the loving she so much deserves. All she wants to do is be by your side and look at you with those sad eyes, waiting to be loved on. Victoria is in Prattville AL and would love for you to come by and meet her anytime! If you are looking for a perfect canine companion, you should really meet me! .

Who We Are

Adoptarott was formed by a group of independent rescuers in Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Our members all recognized the need to help this wonderful breed and have banded together with this single purpose. If you are a rescuer in Alabama, Georgia or Florida and would like to help, please join our yahoo list adopt-a-rott@yahoogroups.com.

Adopting a friend

All adoptive homes are screened before an animal is placed. Adopters must provide three personal references, a veterinary reference and have a home visit prior to approval. We generally require a fence but will make rare exceptions. Adoptarott's standard adoption fee is $200.00 for Rottweilers and $125.00 for mixes. This fee is to cover the cost of veterinary care and spaying or neutering. Once an adoption is approved, we will arrange transport to your location. All adoptive dogs must live and sleep indoors as a family member. We do not adopt out "Yard Dogs" or "Logging Chain Decorations." No protection training is allowed and the use of prong/pinch/shock collars is only acceptable under the guidance and supervision of a professional trainer. Tails cannot be docked or altered. Mandatory use of a monthly Heartworm preventative is also required. Adopted dogs cannot be rehomed by the adopter. The dog must be returned to us, if for any reason, they can no longer care for, or keep the dog. It is our policy to never accept any dog with a bite history. All dogs are temperament tested and assessed in a foster home prior to being offered for adoption.
