Who We Are
Our shelter is a very small facility that has been located here in Scottsboro for over 20 years. We have a very limited number of runs and that only allows us to keep animals for 7 days.
We have a very high euthanasia rate and would like to improve adoption rate. Our shelter does not have a waiting list , we try to place our dogs in the best possible homes.
We require all of our dogs to be spayed/neutered , have shots and a heartworm check from our local vet before the adoption can be processed.
Adopting a friend
Adopting a pet is a very serious decision that should not be entered into lightly and each family member should be open to bringing in a new pet. We ask that it you are interested in a certain pure bred animal, please research this breed and make sure his/her personality will fit into your home.
As each of you know we know minimal history on the dogs that come in and we can't guarantee temperment. We can tell you what we know and help you make the decision if that pet will work in your home.
