Pet of the Month

KORY!
Kory had knee surgery as his knees were on the sides of leg instead of on top.  He's completely recovered with only a slight limp.  It doesn't slow him down though. He runs up stairs, jumps on the couch, flies around the yard. He is a great boy!  He's under 1YO and is ready to call a new home his own!

Due to Kory's extensive surgery, we recommend supplements for his joints.  He may have arthritis when he gets older, but supplements can help him move easily and pain free!

Who We Are

Rockin' P Rescue started in February 2000. We are a private, volunteer, non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of unwanted, neglected, and abandoned boxers. We provide food, shelter, medical attention, and TLC during their wait for the "RIGHT" forever home. We place our boxers as inside dogs to approved homes only. We serve Alabama, Georgia, and the surrounding areas. We do have a Georgia Shelter license issued by the Department of Agriculture. We can't save every dog but we can make a difference...one dog at a time!

Adopting a friend

If you are interested in adopting one of our Boxers, you can contact us at: angie@rockinprescue.org or go to our website http://www.rockinprescue.org.
Once an application is submitted, it is reviewed, references are checked and a homevisit set up. If approved, we will contact you about the dog you are interested in. We want to place these dogs with the "RIGHT" families so it may take a bit to find that dog for you, please be patient.

Volunteering and Donations!

We would love to hear from you! We need foster homes throughout the state of Alabama, Georgia, and at times we need transportation through the states. For ways to "Make a Difference" see our website listed below. Our main needs right now are bedding, crates, food, and of course monetary donations are always welcome.

We do not have a shelter and our rescue boxers are in different foster homes. Once your paper work process is complete to include the homevisit, we will contact you to set up a satisfactory meeting place for a meeting with your potential adoptive boxer.
