Fix A Feline program is in full swing. This is a low/no cost spay neuter program for felines only. Call 230-2171 for information on where the mobile spay neuter van will be!
Who We Are
The Adopt-A-Cat shelter in Anchorage Alaska is a no-kill, nonprofit cat shelter taking care of almost 300 cats and offering all a permanent home. AHS also cares for cats which have tested Feline Leukemia positive or FIV in separate quarters.
Adopting a Friend
Cats are available for adoption to people who can provide a safe and permanent home. We prefer potential adopters visit the cats before deciding. We do not ship cats out of Alaska.
Volunteering and Donations
AHS is completely run by volunteers so your help would be greatly appreciated - by the cats as well as the volunteers. The cats really get a kick out of watching us clean.
